Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Job Summary

To solve critical engineering challenges, the full-time Senior Embedded Software Engineer will build an ultra-stable operating system foundation for a next-generation device fleet, focusing on low-level Qualcomm Android BSP bring-up and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive low-level hardware integration and eliminate system vulnerabilities for device firmware
• Collaborate with electrical engineering and application teams to ensure seamless connectivity and performance of life-saving devices
• Contribute to chipset bring-up efforts and enhance automated testing capabilities for device validation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years of experience
• Development experience within embedded systems/firmware design throughout the product life cycle
• Proven track record with chipset bring-up in Linux or Android ecosystems
• Mastery of C and C++ programming languages
• Experience in bootloader development and debugging for Application Digital Signal Processors (ADSP)
