Job Summary
Owning the end-to-end architecture of hardware safety and power management systems, the full-time Senior Embedded Software Engineer will design safe-state strategies and implement low-level drivers and firmware for safety-critical integrated circuits while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement hardware safety and power management systems to meet ASIL-B/C safety goals
- Develop low-level drivers and firmware for integrated circuits based on datasheets and safety manuals
- Lead the creation of hardware-software safety diagnostic frameworks and mentor engineers on best practices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience (or a Master's degree with 2+ years, or PhD)
- Experience in embedded C/C++ and ARM-based SoC architectures, specifically ARM Cortex-R5F
- Proven expertise in configuring MPUs and hardware-level firewalls for safety-critical environments
- Direct experience developing drivers for safety-critical integrated circuits from datasheets
- Foundational knowledge of ISO 26262 ASIL-B/C functional safety concepts and diagnostic coverage
