Senior Embedded Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the product lifecycle from schematic design to manufacturing, the full-time Senior Embedded Software & Hardware Engineer will develop and debug embedded firmware and hardware for biometric authentication devices in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, debug, and maintain embedded firmware while optimizing system resources
• Create schematics and PCB layouts, manage component selection, and oversee hardware bring-up and integration
• Test prototypes, diagnose hardware and software issues, and collaborate with manufacturing to improve product quality

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in embedded systems development for both firmware and hardware
• Proficiency in C/C++ for resource-constrained embedded systems
• Demonstrated experience in hardware design, including schematic capture and PCB layout
• Hands-on lab skills with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and RF testing equipment
