Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer to join their SmartGate team.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain system integrity across the SmartGate hardware-software stack and test new hardware and software versions
Build and validate hardware kits for customer deployments and coordinate with installation contractors
Remotely diagnose and resolve failures in the deployed fleet while developing commissioning runbooks and validation procedures

Required Qualifications

2+ years of production experience with embedded or server-side Linux
2+ years of experience writing Python and/or Bash for production use
Working knowledge of IP networking and cellular/LTE connectivity
Production experience integrating edge compute platforms and IP cameras
Experience configuring and troubleshooting IP camera systems in production environments
