Senior Embedded Systems Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of innovative sleep devices, the full-time Senior Embedded Systems Engineer will create and enhance firmware for baby and adult products, utilizing AI tools and collaborating across teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and ship new features and fixes for embedded systems, leveraging AI to improve delivery speed
• Lead the design and implementation of new product firmware and large-scale refactors while mentoring team members
• Enhance system observability and improve firmware reliability, stability, and developer experience

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in embedded engineering, particularly with C development on resource-constrained MCUs and RTOS
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality consumer products in a cost and schedule-constrained environment
• Strong understanding of automated testing processes and the ability to implement them effectively
• Experience with hardware-software integration and a passion for improving existing firmware
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Git/Github, and Python, along with a willingness to explore new technologies
