Job Summary
Providing strategic consultation and guidance, the full-time Senior Employee Relations Specialist will manage complex federal employee relations matters, including adverse actions and EEO issues, while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct consultations with supervisors to define issues and recommend appropriate action paths for employee relations cases
- Provide technical guidance on adverse actions and prepare necessary documentation, ensuring compliance with procedural requirements
- Develop and deliver training for supervisors on performance management and documentation best practices
Required qualifications
- Minimum of seven years of experience in federal employee relations, including EEO and MSPB matters
- Expertise in interpreting and applying OPM regulations, specifically 5 CFR 752 and 5 CFR 432
- Experience developing and implementing employee relations policies in consultation with legal advisors
- Proven ability to manage high-stakes employee relations cases from intake through resolution
- Strong background in training and coaching supervisors on employee relations processes
