Senior Employment Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Employment Counsel to provide strategic legal advice on global employment and labor law.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel on various employment matters, including hiring, onboarding, and terminations
• Draft, review, and update employment policies to ensure compliance with laws and internal standards
• Manage employment-related disputes and provide guidance on risk management strategies

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 8+ years of employment and labor law experience, preferably in a multinational organization or law firm
• Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law and experience with international employment matters
• Ability to provide practical, business-focused legal advice in a regulated environment
• Experience in the life sciences, healthcare, or clinical research industry is preferred
