Job Summary

To support a growing multi-state healthcare organization, the remote Senior Employment & Litigation Counsel will serve as the primary legal advisor on employment law, managing litigation strategies, overseeing investigations, and promoting compliance while fostering a people-centered workplace culture.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead and execute the employment legal strategy, advising on litigation and pre-litigation matters
  • Manage claims and disputes, overseeing sensitive internal investigations involving employee complaints
  • Develop strategies to minimize employment-related litigation risk and draft relevant employment documents
Required qualifications
  • J.D. from an accredited institution with state bar passage and in good standing
  • Minimum of five years of experience as a practicing attorney, preferably with law firm and in-house experience
  • Significant knowledge of relevant employment laws
  • Proven ability to lead complex litigation and negotiations with minimal oversight
  • Experience in a data-driven organization, utilizing reports and data to manage projects and people
