Senior EMR Practice Management Analyst

Job Summary

To enhance clinic operations, the full-time Senior EMR Practice Management Analyst will provide advanced support and optimization of practice management and clearinghouse systems, acting as a subject matter expert for Waystar and CareLogic while collaborating with clinical and administrative teams in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize practice management workflows, ensuring efficient scheduling, registration, coding, and billing processes
• Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders on projects, process improvements, and compliance with regulations
• Provide support and expertise in EMR functionality related to billing and collections, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA laws

Required qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in medical billing, preferably in substance abuse or primary care
• Experience with EMR system configuration and web-based billing software
• Leadership experience in a current role
• Proficiency in creating PowerPoint presentations for leadership
• Familiarity with Waystar clearinghouse and EDI files
