Senior Energy Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Analyst focused on energy system decarbonization.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct original research and analysis on oil and gas emissions reductions and sustainable finance
• Translate research into accessible materials for stakeholders and senior meetings
• Produce and present briefing papers, reports, and publications for various audiences

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, economics, energy, public policy, or related fields with at least 4 years of relevant experience; a Master's degree may substitute for up to 2 years of experience
• Experience as an analyst, consultant, or in project management within energy, policy, finance, or climate sectors
• Strong analytical skills and experience in rigorous technical research
• General knowledge of the oil and gas industry, energy transition, and sustainable finance is desirable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and fluency in English; additional language proficiency is beneficial
