Senior Energy Auditor

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the full-time Senior Energy Auditor will prepare attestation engagements, analyze data for compliance with renewable fuel regulations, and actively participate in business development while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare attestation engagements and audit reports in accordance with established standards
• Collect and analyze data related to renewable fuel production facilities to ensure regulatory compliance
• Research and summarize new renewable fuel regulations and assist in developing audit and verification programs

Required qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in accounting or renewable fuels preferred
• A degree in business, accounting, financial management, or a related field is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of the EPA's Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) and West Coast Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
