Senior Engine Programmer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Engine Programmer to join their live team for an unannounced game.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and update core systems of the game engine
• Collaborate with artists, designers, and other engineers to gather requirements and iterate on features
• Monitor, identify, and troubleshoot issues to enhance team effectiveness

Required Qualifications

• Experience developing a game engine (work, school, or personal project)
• 5+ years of technical engineering experience with C or C++
• Experience with custom engines and porting them to multiple platforms
• Demonstrated ability to execute longer-term projects in complex code bases
• 5 to 10+ years experience in game development or similar 3D media using C++ (preferred)
