Senior Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Engineer specializing in Energy Storage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct and review advanced electrical studies, including arc flash and reactive power studies
• Lead the design and engineering of components for utility-scale energy storage systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and enhance design quality

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (master's preferred)
• 7+ years of experience in Solar PV or Energy Storage engineering and/or construction
• Proficiency in ETAP, PSCAD, and PSS/E software tools
• Expertise in power electronics, BESS design, substation design, and generation tie-line design
• Familiarity with safety and design standards such as UL1973, UL9540, and NFPA 855
