Senior Engineer, AI Applications

Job Summary

Leading the development of the AI-powered tool Ask Aya, the full-time Senior Engineer, AI Applications will be responsible for feature development, integrations, and enhancing the Membership Center platform, all while working remotely in a temporary-to-hire capacity through February 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary engineer on Ask Aya, driving iterations and feature enhancements to improve its utility for domestic workers
• Contribute to the Membership Center platform by building and maintaining integrations and ensuring optimal user experience
• Utilize AI coding tools to enhance engineering practices and establish effective patterns for team collaboration

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of senior-level engineering experience with a strong background in building and shipping production software
• Hands-on experience with LLM applications, including the design and deployment of LLM-powered features in production
• Proficiency in full-stack development, particularly with TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, and React/Next.js
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, including AWS services and CI/CD practices
• Strong understanding of privacy-preserving data architectures and handling sensitive user data
