Senior Engineer, AI Developer Tools

Job Summary

To drive the modernization of engineering practices, the full-time remote Senior Engineer, AI Developer Tools will design and implement AI-driven developer platforms and tools, enhancing productivity and code quality across Tealium's engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build internal AI-driven developer tools to improve engineering velocity and code quality
• Lead initiatives to refactor legacy systems and streamline architecture, reducing production incidents
• Establish metrics to track the adoption and effectiveness of AI tools within the engineering organization

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in internal tooling or platform engineering
• Proven success in delivering AI-powered developer tools with measurable impacts on team velocity and quality
• Deep understanding of modern software development practices and environments, including languages like Java and TypeScript
• Strong architecture and system design skills, with experience in evaluating AI technologies
• Exceptional ability to influence and collaborate across disciplines in a senior engineering capacity
