Senior Engineer, Communications

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Engineer I, Communications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain streaming services, microservices, and serverless architectures to support high-volume messaging
• Collaborate with Product Managers and engineers to translate business requirements into technical implementations
• Recognize and articulate technical debt, planning and executing paths to address challenges while ensuring production stability

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience
• Significant experience with Golang and expertise in distributed serverless architecture and cloud platforms (AWS Lambda preferred)
• Experience with infrastructure tools like Terraform & Github Actions
• Proficiency in Docker or other container orchestration platforms
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, data structures, and software design patterns
