Senior Engineer - Customer Applications

Job Summary

Serving as a technical lead for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) proposals, the full-time Senior Engineer - Customer Applications will work remotely to optimize technical solutions that meet customer requirements while collaborating with internal teams and supporting sales efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical proposals for BESS projects, ensuring alignment with customer specifications and GE Vernova standards
• Facilitate the development of dynamic models for grid system simulations and support the creation of technical commercial documentation
• Provide mentorship to team members and participate in process improvement activities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a technical role involving Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) or utility-scale solar inverters
• Demonstrated experience with battery and inverter systems for the power industry
• Ability to interface confidently with senior leadership and communicate complex technical information clearly
• Experience working cross-functionally with various teams, including Engineering, Sourcing, and Product Management
