Senior Engineer, Data Platform

Job Summary

Owning the design and development of the data platform, the full-time Senior Engineer, Data Platform will build and manage Snowflake-based analytics solutions, dbt pipelines, and semantic models in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform hands-on analysis, technical design, data modeling, development, testing, and deployment of Snowflake-based data solutions
• Design, build, and maintain dbt models and CI/CD pipelines for enterprise BI and analytics use cases
• Own Snowflake platform responsibilities, including data architecture, query optimization, and warehouse administration

Required qualifications

• Extensive experience with Snowflake, including data modeling and warehouse architecture
• Strong experience with dbt, including building models, tests, and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of SQL, with Python experience being a plus
• Experience building dashboards in modern BI/visualization tools such as Sigma or Power BI
• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Data Science, or related disciplines, or relevant experience in data architecture and analytics engineering
