Senior Engineer FHIR

Job Summary

To support the Hospital Quality Reporting program, the full-time remote Senior Engineer, FHIR will manage software development projects, demonstrating proficiency in relevant technologies while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and compliance throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver medium-to-large features while reducing technical debt across projects
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to integrate quality considerations at every stage of the SDLC
• Establish testing standards and metrics, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and facilitating effective issue resolution

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 8+ years of development experience
• Experience with Java/Springboot and at least two of GoLang, Python, Angular, or TypeScript
• Strong experience with HL7 FHIR standards and building or integrating RESTful APIs aligned to FHIR specifications
• Proficiency in cloud environments, preferably AWS, and experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform
• Experience with fully automated CI/CD pipelines and strong relational database experience, such as PostgreSQL
