Senior Engineer, FHIR

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time salaried position, the Senior Engineer, FHIR will contribute to the success of projects by leveraging key technologies, delivering features, and collaborating with team members to enhance software supporting the Hospital Quality Reporting program.

Key responsibilities

• Manage cross-functional collaboration to integrate quality considerations throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Develop comprehensive test plans and documentation to ensure thorough testing of features and functionalities
• Implement performance and security testing while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 8+ years of development experience
• Proficiency in Java/Springboot and experience with at least two of GoLang, Python, Angular, or TypeScript
• Experience working with HL7 FHIR standards and building or integrating RESTful APIs aligned to FHIR specifications
• Strong relational database experience, preferably with PostgreSQL
• Experience with fully automated CI/CD pipelines and Agile development methodology
