Senior Engineer - Florida Licensed

Job Summary

Supporting the Infrastructure Escalation Engineering team, the hybrid Senior Engineer - Florida Licensed will manage platform support for internal business customers, focusing on automation and troubleshooting across multiple technologies including Windows Server, Red Hat Linux, and virtualization platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise in debugging and troubleshooting RHEV/RHEL, ESX, and Windows platform issues
• Lead efforts to automate problem resolution and prevention using tools like Ansible and PowerShell
• Coordinate meetings to restore service quickly and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related analytical discipline, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience with automation technologies such as Ansible or Terraform
• 2+ years of experience supporting and troubleshooting Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux
• 2+ years of experience with Broadcom (VMware) platforms, including the VCF stack
• 2+ years of experience troubleshooting server hardware, particularly HPE and Dell systems
