Senior Engineer for Autonomous Driving

Job Summary

To advance autonomous driving technology, the full-time Senior Engineer for Autonomous Driving will develop algorithms for planning, integrate and evaluate algorithm combinations, and design a robust codebase while mentoring junior team members in a remote U.S. setting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop algorithms for planning and decision-making under uncertainty in autonomous driving
• Integrate and evaluate various algorithm combinations within the system
• Design and build a scalable codebase while guiding junior engineers

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• At least two years of industry experience in motion planning for automotive robotics
• Proficient in C++ software development
• Experience in leading technical development from problem formulation to deployment
• Skilled in processing and analyzing autonomous vehicle field data and building large data pipelines
