Senior Engineer for Autonomous Systems

Job Summary

Designing and implementing software pipelines for autonomous vehicle localization systems, the full-time Senior Engineer for Autonomous Systems will conduct code reviews, guide junior team members, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test onboard and offboard software pipelines for autonomous vehicle localization systems
• Conduct code reviews and provide guidance on code quality and efficiency to junior team members
• Collaborate with the mapping team to establish APIs for localization-mapping interaction

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or Mechanical Engineering
• Three years of experience in software development for autonomous robotics
• Experience in production-focused C++ software development and designing data pipelines
• Three years of experience in sensor data processing, simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) development, and code optimization for deployment
