Senior Engineer (Golang/Kubernetes)

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Engineer (Golang/Kubernetes).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the ArangoDB operator, focusing on lifecycle management, scaling, backup, and replication on Kubernetes
• Design and implement new features while shaping the architecture of core operator components
• Influence best practices for deploying stateful systems on Kubernetes to meet enterprise-grade performance and stability expectations

Required Qualifications

• Deep expertise in Kubernetes, CRDs, and operators
• Strong experience in Go, with a solid understanding of concurrency and distributed systems
• Proven background in managing production-grade distributed databases or stateful systems
• Familiarity with storage concepts in Kubernetes, including PersistentVolumes and PVCs
• Operational mindset with the ability to ensure stability and manage cluster lifecycle through automation
