Senior Engineer II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Engineer II (Fleet Virtualization).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement IT systems for core virtual machine products
• Analyze metrics with Observability teams to enhance products and services
• Collaborate with teams to optimize virtualization technologies and maintain existing systems

Required Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Linux-based operating systems
• Deep experience with QEMU, KVM, Linux kernel, and libvirt; proficiency in C
• Knowledge of proprietary services and their interaction with the virtualization stack
• Proven experience in solving problems at scale with a focus on security best practices
• Excellent collaboration skills with cross-team interactions
