Senior Engineer II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Engineer II (Fleet Virtualization).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement IT systems for the core virtual machine product
• Collaborate with teams to analyze metrics and improve products and services
• Maintain the existing virtual machine stack and support future software updates

Required Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Linux-based operating systems
• Deep experience with QEMU, KVM, Linux kernel, and libvirt; proficiency in C
• Strong knowledge of proprietary services and their intersection with the virtualization stack
• Proven track record of solving problems at scale
• Proactive in identifying and implementing security best practices
