Senior Engineer, Observability
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Engineer I, Observability.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrating and operating open source observability software
- Implementing features to enhance service operability and design future metrics and logging
- Guiding engineers on utilizing systems for service performance assurance
Required Qualifications
- Experience with open source observability systems like Opensearch and VictoriaMetrics
- Familiarity with container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes or Nomad
- Experience writing software in Golang, with knowledge of concurrency and distributed systems
- Experience with DevOps tooling such as Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD practices
- Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
