Senior Engineer - Observability

Job Summary

To enhance operational efficiency, the full-time Senior Engineer - Observability will design, implement, and manage monitoring solutions for various environments while resolving complex client issues and maintaining technical deliverables in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage observability solutions for servers, applications, and cloud environments, ensuring compliance with SLA and SLO targets
• Develop dashboards and reports to monitor system health and performance, optimizing alerting mechanisms for timely incident response
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate observability into system architecture and deployment pipelines

Required qualifications

• BA/BS degree with 4-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent
• Proficiency with observability/monitoring platforms such as Datadog, Dynatrace, or Splunk
• Strong scripting and automation skills in languages like Python or PowerShell
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, including Terraform or Ansible
• Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP monitoring and logging services
