Senior Engineer - OpenSearch

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Engineer - OpenSearch, the successful candidate will lead the development and optimization of large-scale OpenSearch clusters, contribute to Insider Risk Management (IRM) and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) products, and engage with the open-source community while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a consultant, advisor, and mentor to internal and external search practitioners
• Design and implement new features, enhancements, and bug fixes for DTEX's IRM and AI Risk Management products
• Manage and fine-tune large-scale OpenSearch clusters with terabytes of data

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of software engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• Deep expertise in OpenSearch internals and data management
• Proven experience migrating large-scale Elasticsearch 6.x deployments to OpenSearch 2.x or above
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with major cloud platforms, preferably AWS
