Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Engineer - P&C.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and support for the design of protection, control, and metering systems for electrical substations
• Conduct protection coordination studies and relay settings for high voltage utility transmission systems
• Support construction, commissioning activities, and participate in client technical meetings

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of utility-specific protection, control, and metering experience
• Electrical Engineering Degree from a recognized university with the ability to register as a Professional Engineer in Canada and/or the United States
• 3-4 years of experience in protection coordination studies and relay settings for high voltage utility transmission systems is preferred
• Experience with relay setting software such as ASPEN, CAPE, EasyPower, SKM Power Tools, and SEL and GE relay programming software
• Proven field experience with outage planning, construction sequencing, and commissioning is considered an asset
