Senior Engineer, Permitting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Engineer, Permitting and Joint Use.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the submission of permits and permissions to various reviewing bodies to ensure timely approvals
• Maintain detailed project plans and reports to prevent procedural delays and inform stakeholders
• Collaborate with regulatory and governmental affairs teams to strategize permitting needs 12-18 months in advance of construction

Required Qualifications and Education

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of directly related work experience
• Experience with permitting agencies and processes, including state DOTs and local municipalities
• Knowledge of outside plant engineering and construction processes for telecommunications facilities
• Experience managing large multi-state projects and working with municipalities and utility partners
• Strong leadership and project management skills
