Senior Engineer Regulatory Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Engineer/Regulatory Specialist - M&O.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft documents, publications, and artefacts to support the rollout of the seaworthiness regulatory program
• Review seaworthiness policy and regulations, and engage with regulated entities
• Draft compliance submissions, permits, and approvals on behalf of the seaworthiness regulator

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor qualification in a relevant discipline with considerable industry experience
• Chartered Engineer status with a relevant recognized engineering institute is desirable
• 5+ years of experience in Defence or maritime regulatory environments, vessel operations, or an equivalent discipline
• Strong expertise in work, health and safety and environmental compliance
• Must hold an Australian Government Security clearance upon commencement
