Senior Engineer - Stability Analysis

Job Summary

To support the LOCA, Containment & Stability Analysis Team, the full-time Senior Engineer - Stability Analysis will perform safety analyses for plant thermal-hydraulic stability and engage in cross-disciplinary collaboration, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thermal-hydraulic stability analyses and support fuel project activities, including reload analyses and safety analysis for emergent fuel issues
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to communicate technical issues and present technical data effectively
• Provide technical mentoring and develop training courses for internal and external audiences to enhance knowledge management

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering Discipline (Nuclear, Mechanical, Chemical, or similar) from an accredited institution
• Minimum 5 years of experience in plant thermal-hydraulic stability safety analysis and methods
• Experience with BWR Plant thermal-hydraulic stability analyses and related methodologies
• Knowledge of reactor licensing requirements and plant operational support in the stability area
• Programming experience in languages such as C#, FORTRAN, or PYTHON
