Senior Engineering Architect

Job Summary

To support the development of a secure AI test and evaluation platform, the fully remote Senior Engineering Architect will define system architecture, establish technical standards, and guide the solution from concept through deployment while collaborating with government stakeholders and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the end-to-end system architecture and technical roadmap for open-source AI solutions
• Evaluate open-source and commercial technologies, documenting architectural tradeoffs and making recommendations
• Mentor engineers and guide the technical solution through deployment and operational validation

Required Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with 3+ years in system or solution architecture
• Experience designing distributed, cloud-native systems operating in production
• Deep expertise in areas such as numerical computing, data science, or machine learning
• Proficiency in Python and strong understanding of software engineering principles and system design
