Senior Engineering Director
Job Summary
Leading a team of engineering managers and senior engineers, the full-time Senior Engineering Director will set technical strategy, champion a security-first and AI-first engineering culture, and contribute as a hands-on full-stack developer in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Directly manage engineering managers and senior engineers while mentoring and developing talent across the organization
- Define and evolve technical roadmaps, architecture standards, and best practices, focusing on service-oriented architecture and security
- Contribute to the codebase as a full-stack developer, designing and building end-to-end solutions and troubleshooting production issues
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of software development experience as a full-stack developer, including engineering leadership roles
- Deep expertise in .NET (modern .NET and .NET Framework) and C#, with strong front-end experience in Angular and React
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and strong database skills in Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL
- Demonstrated commitment to security-first engineering practices and practical experience with AI-first engineering
- Proven ability to operate effectively as both a people leader and an individual contributor
