Senior Engineering Director

Job Summary

Leading a dynamic engineering team, the full-time Senior Director of Engineering will manage resources and processes to ensure high-quality product releases while defining the vision and strategy for the engineering department in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Engineering Managers and Technical Leads to plan and execute product delivery, ensuring teams have the necessary specifications and tools
• Establish project timelines and maintain focus on deadlines while building relationships with product leaders for new product ideation and execution
• Oversee the engineering capabilities and architectural decisions, ensuring systems perform at scale and mentoring engineers for quality software delivery

Required qualifications

• Master's Degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• At least 14 years of experience managing and mentoring software engineering teams focused on quality delivery
• A minimum of 20 years in software design, development, and release cycles
• Experience managing a team of at least 25 people and a budget exceeding $5,000,000
• Strong experience with the Microsoft stack, cloud environments, and enterprise-grade platforms
