Senior Engineering Lead

Job Summary

As a Senior Engineering Lead in a full-time remote position, the successful candidate will manage a team of engineers while driving the development of a high-performance navigation stack in C++, focusing on modular code creation and integration with broader engineering efforts.

Key responsibilities:

• Research, design, and maintain a production-grade navigation stack while guiding the team in developing reusable code blocks
• Oversee personnel management, including conducting performance evaluations and supporting team members' technical and career development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable navigation solutions aligned with the product roadmap

Required qualifications:

• BS, MS, or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience
• Experience mentoring engineers and managing a small team
• Proficiency in modern C++ and familiarity with Python
• Deep knowledge of open-source navigation frameworks such as ROS/ROS2, Nav2, or MoveIt2
