Senior Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Manager of Engineering to lead the design and development of a critical component of their data intelligent platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team focused on storage I/O stack and erasure coding
• Develop and maintain a technical roadmap for storage I/O path optimization aligned with strategic objectives
• Collaborate with Product Management and other teams to define requirements and validate designs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of software development experience in large-scale storage systems, focusing on I/O path optimization
• 5+ years of experience managing high-performance engineering teams
• Experience with erasure coding solutions and distributed locking mechanisms
• Proficiency in C/C++ and familiarity with relevant frameworks and performance profiling techniques
