Senior Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager for the W&B Inference team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the engineering team focused on the W&B Inference product, emphasizing service reliability and developer experience
• Drive execution on roadmap initiatives in collaboration with Product to ensure robust delivery of platform capabilities
• Own engineering processes for the inference product, including incident response, operational readiness, and observability

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with 3+ years in managing engineering teams for distributed systems or large-scale services
• Fluency in distributed compute services concepts, including reliability engineering and API design
• Experience in managing competing priorities and making trade-offs among latency, reliability, and cost
• Ability to lead teams through complex, multi-stakeholder projects
• Empathy for ML practitioners and a drive to enhance developer experience
