Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager, Commerce Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a backend engineering team responsible for billing and subscription infrastructure
• Set strategies for subscription lifecycle and billing systems ensuring resilience and compliance
• Drive system modernization and establish processes for data quality and reconciliation

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of people management experience with an engineering team
• Minimum of 10 years as a software engineer or equivalent technical experience
• Proven experience with distributed backend systems and high reliability
• Strong technical background in Java, Python, or similar backend languages
• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent technical experience
