Senior Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead operational excellence within their engineering organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the output and operational health of multiple engineering teams, ensuring delivery predictability and quality metrics
• Drive cross-team coordination on initiatives, managing dependencies and ensuring realistic delivery commitments
• Directly manage and coach Engineering Managers, enhancing their capabilities and establishing clear performance expectations

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering, with at least 4 years in engineering management leading multiple teams
• Strong engineering background with the ability to assess architecture and contribute to technical discussions
• Proven track record of improving engineering operational health and development process maturity
• Experience coaching and developing engineering managers
• Comfortable working with data to assess team health and drive decisions
