Senior Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager, Cloud Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead software engineering teams to provide infrastructure-as-code and establish governance for self-service infrastructure provisioning
• Establish and professionalize a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) function, including incident management and training
• Drive engineering excellence through design reviews, code reviews, and managing a team of infrastructure engineers

Required Qualifications

• Experience leading teams operating SaaS service infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform
• Experience building and operating self-service infrastructure platforms for application development teams
• Proven track record of hiring and developing high-performing engineering teams in remote environments
• Experience with observability tools and incident management processes
