Senior Engineering Manager

Job Summary

The fully remote Senior Engineering Manager will lead a team of 8 engineers responsible for Postscript's messaging backbone, including Flow Builder and high-volume SMS campaign systems, while driving operational excellence and managing internal product priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the team managing Postscript's messaging backbone and oversee the development of Flow Builder and campaign send engine
• Drive system reliability, throughput, and cost efficiency for high-volume messaging operations
• Manage the Messaging Platform as an internal product, including prioritization and support for engineering teams across Postscript

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of leadership experience managing engineers and developing top performers
• Experience with high-volume, business-critical distributed systems
• Proven track record in recruiting and onboarding engineers
• Experience running internal platforms that support other engineering teams
• Exposure to AI technologies and their integration with platform services is a plus
