The full-time Senior Engineering Manager will oversee the foundational infrastructure for Vanta's engineering teams, ensuring scalability, reliability, and operational excellence in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and grow high-performing platform engineering teams to deliver scalable infrastructure solutions
• Set technical direction and drive platform initiatives focusing on reliability, security, and developer experience
• Collaborate with product engineering and leadership to translate infrastructure challenges into actionable roadmap priorities

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing platform or infrastructure teams in high-growth tech companies
• Proven track record of maintaining and scaling shared infrastructure effectively
• Experience managing complex, long-term projects involving multiple teams and stakeholders
• Strong decision-making skills with the ability to balance ambiguity and data
• Effective communication skills to influence cross-functional teams and drive technical direction
