Senior Engineering Manager

Job Summary

The full-time salaried Senior Engineering Manager will lead the engineering team in developing and executing distributed generation solar and storage projects, overseeing technical design, engineering processes, and construction management in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage team performance and resource allocation while facilitating training initiatives to enhance efficiency
• Conduct technical evaluations to determine optimal system designs and oversee the creation of construction documentation
• Provide technical support during construction phases, ensuring adherence to plans and managing contractor relationships

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil)
• 5 - 8+ years of experience in the renewables industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Expertise in solar plant equipment and NEC codes
• Proficiency with PVSyst, AutoCAD, and other relevant engineering software
• Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship
