Senior Engineering Manager

Job Summary

The full-time Senior Engineering Manager will lead two teams core platform and customer-facing features driving technical direction and delivery while actively engaging in problem-solving and mentoring engineers in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own engineering leadership across core platform and customer-facing feature teams, ensuring accountability for delivery and team health
• Mentor and grow engineers through hands-on technical guidance and coaching
• Drive execution against deliverables while addressing open architectural questions and maintaining clear priorities

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 4-5 years in a management role
• Strong backend systems experience, particularly in authentication, authorization, and data infrastructure
• Fluency in one or more programming languages such as Go, TypeScript, Python, Kotlin, or Ruby
• Proven ability to lead teams through execution-focused delivery and technical problem solving
• Experience managing teams of 5-10 engineers with a comfort in scaling
