Senior Engineering Manager

Job Summary

The full-time salaried Senior Engineering Manager will lead the Data Platform team, focusing on maintaining data pipelines, orchestration, and analytics capabilities while collaborating across business units in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set and execute the short and long-term strategy for the Data Platform in collaboration with various teams
• Manage team performance through coaching, feedback, and delegation to meet individual and team goals
• Engage in code and design reviews, addressing technical challenges to ensure high-quality software development

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a data engineer
• 5+ years of experience managing engineering teams
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Terraform, and AWS cloud infrastructure
• Experience with OLAP systems and data platforms
• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails and expertise in Cloud Architecture preferred
