Senior Engineering Manager

Job Summary

The full-time salaried Senior Engineering Manager will lead cross-product engineering teams focused on foundational systems that enhance customer experiences, collaborating closely with product and design teams in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical direction for foundational systems supporting experiences across Babylist
• Lead, coach, and develop engineers and engineering managers across multiple teams
• Collaborate with senior leaders to align technical investments with company priorities and strategy

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading multiple engineering teams through ambiguous challenges
• Proven ability to build strong partnerships with executive stakeholders and translate technical tradeoffs into business decisions
• Experience in developing consumer-facing products and platforms at scale
• Strong background in guiding teams through complex architectural choices
• Genuine enthusiasm for leveraging AI in engineering workflows
