Senior Engineering Manager

Job Summary

The full-time remote Senior Engineering Manager will lead day-to-day engineering execution and manage the Web Applications team responsible for MZLA's hosted subscription products, ensuring strong delivery discipline and a focus on quality, privacy, and user trust.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engineering execution, clarifying priorities, timelines, and quality expectations
• Manage and develop Web Services engineers and contractors, providing coaching and performance support
• Establish team processes and workflows to improve accountability, quality, and predictability

Required qualifications

• 15+ years of industry experience, with at least 10 years in engineering leadership roles
• 5+ years of people management experience in an engineering environment
• Experience managing technical teams and resources, including budget and planning
• Technical depth in software product development, hosted services, or SaaS applications
• Strong communication skills with the ability to foster clarity and accountability in teams
