Senior Engineering Manager

Job Summary

The full-time remote Senior Engineering Manager will lead the engineering execution and people management for the Web Applications team, focusing on the launch, maintenance, and improvement of hosted subscription products while ensuring quality, privacy, and user trust.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day engineering execution, ensuring clarity in priorities, ownership, timelines, and quality expectations
• Manage and develop Web Services engineers and contractors through coaching, feedback, and performance support
• Establish team processes and workflows that enhance accountability, quality, and predictability in engineering practices

Required qualifications

• 15+ years of industry experience, with at least 10 years in engineering leadership roles
• 5+ years of people management experience in an engineering environment
• Experience managing senior technical teams and overseeing budget and resource planning
• Technical depth to evaluate engineering tradeoffs and service reliability
• Strong communication skills with the ability to create clarity and accountability in evolving environments
